This is my first review on Amazon; the hipster in me feels the need to show this product some love before it becomes a big deal. You know - so I can say that I knew about it before it became "cool".I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I know how good wine should taste. A good friend of mine owns one of these kits. I had the opportunity to taste a bottle of Argentine Malbec on Days 1, 4, 9, and 14. It's needless to say that I was blown away! Maybe it was my growing excitement, but it even seemed as if the wine had gotten better by Day 12.I'm not sure how this is going to play out in the market, but this feels revolutionary to me.

I must say, I was certainly skeptical of a product that promises so much, but a good friend recommended it to me. I recently opened a $180 bottle of 2006 Chateau Branaire Ducru, a delicious red wine from the Bordeaux region. I was apprehensive at first about the Wikeeps system, but I decided to put a little faith in the product. I had one glass on Monday, another on Tuesday, and decided to see if the wine could stay fresh after one week. I had another glass the following Monday and I saved a final glass for the second week.I was amazed. The wine didn't lose its bouquet or body. The Argon gas did a beautiful job of keeping the wine from oxidizing and I got to enjoy over and over again over the course of several weeks.
