This thing just reeks of quality. It feels like a solid piece of steel in your hands and has a good weight. The operation is pretty simple - just plug it into the bottle opening and turn the handle to seal it. The rubber part expands outward creating a very tight seal inside the bottle opening. I've had mine for years and it still looks new and works great.

Got this bottle seal yesterday, and immediately tried it on a newly opened bottle of wine. I was very disappointed with it. This seal basically didn't work for me. The way this seal works is when you turn the top handle, it squeezes a silicon ring (the black part) against the inside of the bottle neck. In theory, it should work. In practice, the ring is too small. It may work on narrow bottle necks, but I doubt even that. The bottle of wine that I tried this on was a 2007 Finca Sandoval. IMO, its neck is of a normal size. No matter how much I twisted the top handle, it would not create a tight seal. If I over did it, the silicon ring basically slipped out, rather than being squeezed fat. I could pull this bottle seal out at any time without much effort, even when the ring was fully engaged. A cork would have worked better. All-in-all, I am very disappointed with this purchase.
