During a visit my daughter and her family and my son did the obligatory Orlando-area theme park circuit and purchased this stopper for me as a gift. I had a few other decorative wine bottle stoppers, but this one was different.The first thing you'll notice is the weight - it's heavy. Compared to some of the glass and plastic decorative stoppers this one is hefty enough that I would not want to drop it on my toes while wearing sandals. I am not trying to be cute either.Another thing is the impressionistic representation of Mickey - literally two small balls representing ears on a larger one representing a head - is functional. It allows you to use the ears as a handle to screw down the stopper into a bottle for an airtight seal, and to also get the leverage to remove the stopper because the seal is very tight.Like most of my other stoppers this one has a rubber sealing system that fits over a part of the conical shape of the stopper. Unlike my other stoppers, the sealing system is helical with six threads. No other stopper I own has such a well thought out design.Also like my other stoppers this one fits every bottle I've tried from 750ml to 1.5 liters. I've yet to try this one (or any of my others) in a 375ml bottle, so cannot say with certainty that it will fit those.This was the fourth stopper I had received as a gift in 2013, so it triggered my purchase of this cool rack, which I am sure will quickly fill up: Wine Bottle Stopper Display Rack or Stopper Stand - Holds 12 Stoppers (Not Included)
