Nope, these pourers are no better suited to olive oil than any other liquid. (See Mr. Kurtz's review last January). The problem is the breather tube (much touted in the description) which doesn't allow air flow at all. If you shake the bottle, a few drops of oil will drip out, but there is nothing one might call a "flow".

I purchased these pourers for my bar, that is, i wanted to plug em into bottles of liquor and get my pour counts on lock down.problem: they don't pour freely. total drag.these are seemingly much better suited for cooking oils and whatnot (though i'm sure if you wanted to use them for that purpose you'd want some sort of cap on the pour spout).since they are good for something, they get some stars. since i was somehow misled by this product, they lose stars.
