These work great as a pourer for olive oil. I like the looks of the metal and the slightly curved neck which helps prevent drips. The oil pours in a nice steady stream and it's easy to pour only a little bit (unlike my original plastic pourer that came with the bottle and allowed a heavier flow). These fit standard alcohol bottles so I recycled a nice wine bottle for my oil purposes.Note that I didn't want a pourer with cap for oil because inevitably the cap would get drips on it and thus on my hands. The whole goal of buying a pourer was to eliminate the spills and drips of the old bottle and keep my hands clean while cooking.

We had some oil bottles from a discount store and the supplied stopper/pourer leaked and was of inferior materials. these were used to replace the originals-fit perfect and no leaking. recommneded.

It's not quite as pretty. but they work beautifully. I use them for my olive oil and no more drippy mess. I usually love everything I get from Amazon.
