This product is great. I only drink red wines and have wasted a lot of wine because I don't drink a bottle at a sitting. Leftover red wine does not keep very well and I have tried other wine keepers but this product really works. Now I can enjoy a glass of wine without wasting the rest of the bottle. As I began to read the reviews, I thought this product sounded very good. Then I read a bit more - and I asked myself, what's going on here?? because ALL the reviews were 5 stars and gushingly enthusiastic - and all seemed to be written by quality-red-wine lovers. It made me wonder if these reviews weren't written by a group of friends who hadn't actually used the product! Check this out:When you look at all nine reviews, here's what you will find:* Only one of the nine reviews of this product was verified, i.e. in only one case was there evidence that the reviewer had actually bought the product.* And out of the other eight reviews, only two of the reviewers had reviewed **anything other than this product**! (And those two had each reviewed only one other product.)* And five of the nine reviews were made within the space of just 3 days. Coincidence, or cooperation?So you have to ask yourself, how many of these "reviewers" actually used the product in question? Because if they did like the product as much as they said, how come they didn't buy one for themselves?? or for a friend?I'm disappointed about this; I've been looking on-line for a long time for a wine bottle vacuum pump that works well.
