Set of two stoppers in thermoplastic resin. Fruit of the imagination of one of the youngest designers in Alessi's catalog at the time, Carlo was created as part of the F.F.F. (Family Follows Fiction) metaproject, an operation in the early 1990s that aimed to explore the affective structure of shapes and objects, starting from the idea of reproducing the object creation process followed by children and primitive cultures. The result is a family of playful objects reminiscent of fairytale characters: they offer attractive answers to everyday uses, they suggest mediation through playing, and they're a bridge to the world of the imagination.

These are great for most 12 oz. beer bottles that don't have screw threads (e.g. most craft beers like Dogfish Head, etc.). Maybe you've had a beer want just a little more, but not quite full 12 ounces. These will allow you to save half without it going flat. I've used on several beer bottles and ever time they work like a charm. You can tell by the release when you open that it has done it's job. My only complaint, though it's minor, is that they don't work as well for bottles with threads.
