The wine stoppers are nicely made,BUT THEY DO NOT PROVIDE AN AIRTIGHT SEAL FOR MOST BOTTLES.It appears that the part of the stopper which expands only comes out a little, so there is next to no air seal, and you can pull the stopper out of the bottle with little or no effort. It is not airtight. I have seen cheaper wine stoppers for under a dollar which are 10 times better.Very disappointed....

We've used these stoppers for years--it's true that they don't fit EVERY single bottle, but for most wine bottles they work very well, and they are relatively inexpensive. Compared to Zyliss, which rusted out within a couple months, these stoppers are quality. Highly recommend.

Having read reviews saying this product was too small, didn't tightly fit bottles, I figured that this might be the case with some bottles, but as a product specifically designed for wine bottles, it would surely fit some. Well, I was disappointed to find out that it is loose in all five wine bottles I've tried so far, as well as other soft drink bottles. I can't believe that they wouldn't make this product so that the rubber gasket would be larger, since it would be much better to be a little tight rather than too loose! The product appears well-made and of good materials, but simply doesn't hold tight once sealed. You can close it and then easily pull the stopper up out of the bottles!
